Hi, I’m Swati — the founder and pastry chef behind Jojo bliss Bakery in Surrey, BC.
My journey into professional baking began in 2015, when I stepped into the culinary world as a pastry chef. To strengthen my skills and build a solid foundation, I earned a Diploma in Bakery & Patisserie from City & Guilds, UK.
What started as a passion soon blossomed into a thriving bakery in India, where I spent over seven wonderful years creating handcrafted cakes, desserts and curated catering experiences that became part of countless celebrations.
Today, I’ve brought that same passion, craftsmanship and love for baking to Canada—continuing the journey with Jojo Bliss Bakery.
A name filled with love.
The name Jojo is deeply personal. Jojo was my beloved dog, whose unconditional love and joyful spirit inspired the name of my very first bakery in India. Carrying his name forward in Canada is my way of honouring a beautiful memory while building a new chapter of my dream.
Coming from a family that celebrates food and togetherness, I discovered my love for cooking and baking at a young age. The kitchen has always been more than just a place to create desserts—it’s where I feel most inspired, creative and at home.
